Getting on the Water - Aldwark activity centre has an extensive collection of various crafts to get your party on the water. However, the Centre does have a finite number of crafts and on busy weekends, it may not be possible for all vistors to be on the water at the same time.

Aldwark can provide a range of kayaks, canoes and sailing craft in a safe environment for a fun learning experience ranging from a weekend stay to a week or longer. Week or longer stays are by special arrangement.

How we help with your activities and your safety?

The anticipated number of boat places will be advised on acceptance of the final payment, to allow leaders to plan other activities in their programme. The Duty Safety Officer will arrange for the rotation of visitors in craft, to ensure equal time on the water for everyone.

It is essential that the swim sheet supplied with your confirmation of booking, is completed confirming who can swim 50 metres. The sheet should be handed to the Safety Officer on arrival, it will then be held on file for future reference.
